Dallas Business Journal Spends Two Minutes With Rogers Healy

Rogers Healy was interviewed by Shashana Pearson-Hormillosa for Dallas Business Journal’s “Two Minutes With” feature. In the interview, Rogers talks about the challenges of the real estate market for 2009, his approach to owning and running a business, and of course, gets a shout-out for those Rogers Healy T-shirts.

From the article:

Just 28 years old, Rogers Healy is a force to be reckoned with in the Dallas residential real estate market. Two years ago, after working for larger real estate firms, he started his own agency, Rogers Healy and Associates Residential Real Estate. Competing with larger, better-known real estate agencies, he uses guerrilla-style marketing tactics — like enlisting Dallas Cowboys players Tony Romo and Roy Williams to wear T-shirts that read, “Rogers Healy is my Realtor” — to garner attention. To outwit the economy and the real estate slowdown, Healy diversified his services in mid-2008 and began offering property-management services to homeowners who chose not to — or were unable to — sell their homes. Instead, he offered to market the properties for lease on the Web site he started, BigDrenting.com. Healy was interviewed by staff writer Shashana Pearson-Hormillosa.
