Hillwood Investment Properties plans to develop one of the last sites in Uptown
3000 Turtle Creek Plaza won’t be grassy much longer! Hillwood is already in the process of interviewing architects for what’s going to be the next big development in Uptown.
The site is 5.9 acres, near the intersection of Turtle Creek Boulevard ad Cedar Springs Road, and is valued for tax purposes at $9.25 million, according to Dallas Central Appraisal District. Whatever building may sit on the site can be up to a million square feet, according to city zoning laws.

SMU starts its Living Village project
Students at Southern Methodist University (SMU) are beginning their second annual Living Village project. The project focuses on engineering temporary shelters designed for refugees or rapidly expanding populations.
The project is an interactive display and teaching tool for the school's Engineering and Humanity Week, which starts today.
This year, the shelters are designed for longer-term habitation and SMU students will live, cook and sleep within them. The students will live without luxurious amenities such as running water or electricity.

Fake it Till you Make it...
Ok, so all indications of the current real estate market in the DFW area suggest that its a super time to buy. For that, we are grateful! Interest rates are at historical lows and inventory is actually below what is considered a "normal" market supply.

How I can help YOU!!
Many of you may be unfamiliar with how the realtor/real estate agent/locating process works when finding a rental in Dallas/Fort Worth. I wanted to write this blog to help you understand how my services work and why using me would be to your advantage!
1. Using a realtor to help find a rental doesn't cost YOU a thing! That's right, I am not paid by my client/customer, instead when we find you a place to live and you sign a lease I am then paid by the property management company/landlord.

Let's Move to Uptown
I receive many requests to live in Uptown. When I toured a new client yesterday I was reminded why. Not only are the condos reasonably price you have everything you could possibly want or need in walking distance. Enjoy a stroll on Katy Trail, dine at an array of restaurants, or max out your credit card at the trendiest clothing stores around. Don’t just take my word for it let me show you around. You could here or a place just like it. Call or email me at maranda@rogerhealy.com

Thinking about buying a home?
Are you thinking about buying a home?
Interest rates are at record lows, and now days many homeowners have priced their homes to sell.
1. Find out how much home you can afford
Before you do anything else, find out how much home you can afford. To do this, look online for a quality mortgage calculator, mortgage calculators show you how much home you can afford based on your income, an average interest rate, and the length of the loan.

I am Maranda and I am a REALTOR®.
Hi, I am Maranda and I am a REALTOR®. “Oh”, is usually the response I get. Many assume all I do is sell houses.
