Money Magazine’s Tip #4 is “Tech Infrastructure Trumps Cool Gadgets”

Sure the new speakers are cool but it’s the wiring and stuff behind the wall that matters when getting a return on your home improvement projects.  During my remodel, while there was dust everywhere I took this opportunity to open up the walls and drop cables and appropriate wiring in for flat screen TV’s, well positioned wireless internet, phones, and a sound system.  Technology changes fast and those cool gadgets will be replaced by something cooler when you are selling your house… but

Beautiful Bluffview: Dallas’ little known gem

Million Dollar Listing: Are these guys for real?

While the rest of the nation has been dealing with the harsh reality of a recession and it’s unfortunate repercussions, Josh Flagg, Madison Hildebrand and Chad Rogers gracefully close their million dollar deals during this economic downturn. I happened to recently watch a couple episodes of this Bravo docu-series which is now in its third season and found it hard to believe that people take these guys seriously. Would you list your $6 million dollar property with a 24 year old?  I guess if you lived in L.A. you would have the option.
