Students at Southern Methodist University (SMU) are beginning their second annual Living Village project.  The project focuses on engineering temporary shelters designed for refugees or rapidly expanding populations.

The project is an interactive display and teaching tool for the school's Engineering and Humanity Week, which starts today.

If you are feeling more scared than usual today it might be because it's Friday the 13th buy why is this day so feared?

Number of houses for sale at a 10-year low in North Texas

The overall number of pre-owned houses for sale in North Texas is a the lowest level in more than a decade. Many neighborhoods have less than a four-month supply of single-family homes listed for sale with agents. Nationally, the supply is 6.1 months. Even in the Park Cities, where high prices usually mean longer sales times, there's only about a five-month supply of houses for sale.

Price your home to SELL!

All the latest economic news indicates that this is the year to sell your home. If you’ve been putting it off since the economic downturn.

Real Estate is a lot like dating.

I'm a true believer that just about everything in life can be paralleled. In this case, I'd like to plead my case on how incredibly related real estate and dating are. If you want, please call me Dr. Drew for the rest of the day. Or maybe you can call me Al. If you call me to be your realtor, you can call me whatever you want, even Dr. Al, just to confuse things. My thoughts on real estate/dating:
