Champ d'Or mansion picked up by Dallas area buyer
A Dallas buyer, who is to remain confidential, has bought luxury French chateau, Champ d'Or, which translates into "Fields of Gold," for an undisclosed sum at an auction Friday.
The auction brought in 433 inquires, over 500 showings, and more than 10,000 website visitors, according to the auction company.
The 48,000 square-foot luxury mansion likely sold close to its reserve price of $10.3 million, based on surrounding property prices.

Number of houses for sale at a 10-year low in North Texas
The overall number of pre-owned houses for sale in North Texas is a the lowest level in more than a decade. Inventory is way down and even homes that have been on the market for over 200 days are getting more showings. For this reason there are fewer bargain buys on the market. Many neighborhoods have less than a four-month supply of single-family homes listed for sale with agents. Nationally, the supply is 6.1 months. Even in the Park Cities, where high prices usually mean longer sales times, there's only about a five-month supply of houses for sale.

#1 for a Reason
Things are different at Rogers Healy and Associates. I joined the team just after RHA was voted the Best Place to Work by the Dallas Morning News and I'm not a bit surprised why they won. It's just a different vibe.. It's fun, the energy is indescribable and everyone's work ethic is top notch. People are on a mission up here, so much that I decided to cut all of my hair off to reduce drag in this fast-paced environment. (it looks awesome-I was actually told that I now have Hollywood hair) Speaking of Hollywood..
