Champ d'Or mansion picked up by Dallas area buyer
A Dallas buyer, who is to remain confidential, has bought luxury French chateau, Champ d'Or, which translates into "Fields of Gold," for an undisclosed sum at an auction Friday.
The auction brought in 433 inquires, over 500 showings, and more than 10,000 website visitors, according to the auction company.
The 48,000 square-foot luxury mansion likely sold close to its reserve price of $10.3 million, based on surrounding property prices.

Park Cities Real Estate
The Park Cities real estate market is busier than I've ever seen it. Having worked in the Park Cities real estate market for almost 10 years, I've never seen the spring market hit as early as it has in 2012.
