Renovations coming to Oak Lawn Plaza
Oak Lawn Plaza is scheduled to undergo nearly $250,000 in upgrades. These will be the first upgrades to the building since it was initially completed in 1983.
The first phase of the project is scheduled to be completed this summer with the second phase of upgrades expected to be completed in 2013.
The renovations are essential for retaining existing tenants as well as attracting new ones, says Belinda Dabliz, vice president of leasing.

You Can Now Buy A House From IKEA?
That's right! Your favorite place you go on the weekends to find your favorite home decor or take your boyfriend to see if your relationship will last, is now making a flat-pack house. I'm not kidding! Now for a price of just $86,500 you can own your very own IKEA inspired one bedroom home. The Swedish company is saying the home will have space-saving furniture, tundra maple flooring, abstract cabinets and energy efficient appliances.

Rent vs. Buy - What makes sense?
First, above all else, consult your financial advisor for advice. That being said, with current real estate market conditions, buying makes a lot of sense for many. Mortgage rates are absolutely incredible, prices are attractive, and there are a lot of options. MSN Money reported on Tuesday that the market in 2012 looks better (http://money.msn.com/home-loans/article.aspx?post=26e96ccd-658f-4cfb-ba85-9f902fa31d53). No one has a crystal ball, but now would be a good time to reassess your position.

Good Time To Be A Landlord- Dallas Rental Properties
After the mortgage crisis, many people have found it difficult to get approved for a home loan. Consequently, more and more people are finding themselves leasing and renting homes, while those who are able to afford to buy homes, are buying them for the sole purpose of becoming a landlord. There is an incredibly high demand right now for rental properties, especially in the Park Cities, University Park, Oak Lawn, and North Dallas areas....
