Cotton Bowl gets $25 million for makeover
The Cotton Bowl recently received $25 million of capital earmarked for improvements that include new seating and renovations of public spaces that will reignite the 80-year-old stadium's prestige among Dallas-Fort Worth fans.
The last time the Cotton Bowl received significant funding from the city was in 2006. At that time, the stadium upgraded its infields and scoreboards, which were completed two years later.

Tips for winning an apartment in a landlord's market
Apartment vacancy rates are expected to fall below 5% this year, crossing a benchmark into what is often considered a "landlord's market," said Brad Doremus, senior analyst for Reis, a commercial real-estate research company. Nationally, the apartment vacancy rate is expected to fall to 4.6% by the end of the year.

How I can help YOU!!
Many of you may be unfamiliar with how the realtor/real estate agent/locating process works when finding a rental in Dallas/Fort Worth. I wanted to write this blog to help you understand how my services work and why using me would be to your advantage!
1. Using a realtor to help find a rental doesn't cost YOU a thing! That's right, I am not paid by my client/customer, instead when we find you a place to live and you sign a lease I am then paid by the property management company/landlord.

#1 for a Reason
Things are different at Rogers Healy and Associates. I joined the team just after RHA was voted the Best Place to Work by the Dallas Morning News and I'm not a bit surprised why they won. It's just a different vibe.. It's fun, the energy is indescribable and everyone's work ethic is top notch. People are on a mission up here, so much that I decided to cut all of my hair off to reduce drag in this fast-paced environment. (it looks awesome-I was actually told that I now have Hollywood hair) Speaking of Hollywood..

The New Rental Guru: Philosophy Meets Real Estate.
As a student of philosophy I have spent many a day pondering topics such as love, happiness, the purpose of life, etc. Consequently, when you ponder the purpose of life you begin to question where to live. “How does one live in a place of luxury on any budget”, I asked myself. So, with this question many years ago, I began the fusion of Philosopher and Real Estate Agent. I have slowly transitioned into the Renting Guru. I am the new and upcoming star Renting REALTOR at Rogers Healy and Associates.
