My addictions/Does Wednesday matter when you love what you do?

Anyone who knows me is well aware of my two addictions: houses and cooking. I can talk about houses and food all...day...long. Currently I am saving my pennies for the Modernist Cuisine by Nathan Myhrvold. Check it out - has to be the coolest set of cookbooks ever. My favorite days involve showing amazing properties to my clients then coming home to spend hours in the kitchen cooking dinner (and it's even better now that I have someone else to cook for)!

The old adage about real estate is true - it's all about location. To some this is all that matters, but to others it's less of a concern. What about you? Rent vs. Buy - What makes sense?

First, above all else, consult your financial advisor for advice. That being said, with current real estate market conditions, buying makes a lot of sense for many. Mortgage rates are absolutely incredible, prices are attractive, and there are a lot of options. MSN Money reported on Tuesday that the market in 2012 looks better (http://money.msn.com/home-loans/article.aspx?post=26e96ccd-658f-4cfb-ba85-9f902fa31d53). No one has a crystal ball, but now would be a good time to reassess your position.

Day 1

Thursday is normally just referred to as "almost the weekend." Not for me. Not today. This Thursday is now the first day of my new career with Rogers Healy and Associates.
