The Deep Ellum Revival- Restaurant Hot Spot

Recent ventures to one of the most notorious parts of Dallas has made me take notice of the revival of the once despaired and desperate, Deep Ellum. With the influx of disrespectful party goers that slashed the neighborhood with a dangerous reputation, restaurants and bars in the area were brought face-to-face with the threat of foreclosure. In the recent years, however, Deep Ellum has gradually been experiencing a revival of some sorts. Most recently to open up in the area is The Free Man, a Cajun cafe that is set to serve up brunch and dinner with some great music on the side. The opening of this new hot spot is expected to attract a blend of foodie's and music lovers as they come together for an eclectic, jazzed up mix of two entertainment's that Deep Ellum is embracing. Although Deep Ellum has always been known as the music mecca of Dallas, lately it seems like it could be transforming into a foodie's dream destination. With new restaurants such as Il Cane Rosso, which is known for having the best pizza in town, as well as The Anvil Pub, La Grange, and Lemongrass Asian Bistro, all of which have been praised by renown critics in the industry, the once deserted Deep Ellum is starting to seem like the place to turn to for opening the next Dallas hot spot.
