TCU Ranks In top 100 of the Nation's Best Colleges

A huge Congratulations is in order for Texas Christian University for ranking in the Nations top 100 Universities. It's a great honor for the school as well as its students, faculty and staff. This is the first time that TCU has made the top 100. The last couple of years TCU has been trying to take more initiative to be more involved in higher education.

 

 

Not only are they enhancing their roll in education but the school just announced that a $105 million renovation to the West side and North end of the end zone of Amon G. Carter Stadium will begin in late winter. They are wanting to enhance the the Horned Frog football experience by expanding the capacity to up to 40,000 seats, a club lounge area and new suites. The renovation will begin immediately after the final home game of the 2010 football season and should be complete by 2012. TCU had a great season last year. They had what was almost an undefeated season last year and went to a bowl game. It really looks like TCU is going to be a tough team to beat in the Mountain West.

 

 

Not only is TCU a great university for its education and athletic programs but it is also in a great area to live. Nestled just South West of Downtown Ft. Worth you can find so many activities to do around campus. Surplus of restaurants and shopping! Right across campus is the famous Fuzzy's Tacos...YUMMM! You are right down the street from the Fort Worth Zoo, Kimbell and Modern Art Museums, Botanical and Japanese Gardens, and the Trinity Park. Golf enthusiasts? Colonial Gulf Course is minutes away campus! Fort Worth is rich in culture and you can see it everywhere. Right now they are doing a lot of expansions in downtown Ft. Worth. With more people wanting to live in this area, it's a great time to live in Ft. Worth.
