Shop Local: Dallas Farmers Market

Are you looking for an activity with friends, family, or a solo mission? There is honestly no better place to visit then the Dallas Farmers Market. Located at the corner of Harwood and Marilla streets, you can find the heart of Texas Farmers and all they have to offer. The Dallas Farmers market is comprised of vendors from all over Texas that are selling the freshest and tastiest produce, prepared foods, plants, flowers, and anything else you could think of. What's even greater about the Farmers market is that parking is free. Bring walking shoes or some L.A. Gears and an empty stomach because vendors want you to taste every product they are selling. You can easily go in there with $20 and come out with 2 full bags of fresh goodies to bring back home to the vultures.

My personal favorite things to buy at the farmers market are whole Papayas, Pineapples, limes (10 for $1!!), cilantro,  and maybe even some specialty nuts, maybe an all white pistachio nut what-have-you. I also recommend to rip up a Chicago style hot dog at the Old World Sausage Company's stand. Check out their website at http://www.dallasfarmersmarket.org/index.html
before you head out the Farmers Market.

If anyone is looking for a place to Buy, Sell, Rent or shop at the Farmers Market in the near future, feel free to email me at Josh@RogersHealy.com.
