When I grow up, I want to be on TV!

Remember as children growing up, sitting around the television watching your favorites shows such as "Eight is Enough" or "Brady Bunch" and you'd call out to your Mother "Momma, when I grow up, I want to be on TV!"?? (O.K., I may have just revealed my age... )

Many, many, many days later, I still find myself saying...'When I grow up I want to _______.' Well, ladies and gentlemen...I am proud to say I can fill in the blank with "I'm going to be on HGTV's show "My First Sale"!!

Back in July, I converted a For Sale By Owner into a listing. At the same time, HGTV reached out to the Dallas/Ft Worth Realtors to cast potential agents and their clients who face the challenges of selling their property for the first time. And being the tenacious individual I am, I immediately submitted my client's application. Several weeks later, I receive a jingle from the casting director saying.."You're on!!" and so now the journey begins for both myself and for my client! What a wonderful opportunity to not only promote myself as a Realtor, and my client's home, but I am able to promote the very reason Dallas Business Journal voted Rogers Healy and Associates "The Best Place to Work in Dallas!"
