What is the word on the street?

I have been reading Eat, Pray, Love, and it got me to thinking about the great city where I live, Dallas. In the book, the author says “Every city has a single word that defines it, that identifies most people who live there.” She explains that if you could read everyone’s thoughts, the “word of the city” is what the majority of people in any city are thinking. She claims that the word in New York City would be “achieve,” while the word in Los Angeles would be “succeed.” I am still trying to decide what I think the word of the city is for Dallas, in fact, I am not even sure there is just one word to describe it. Some of the words that come to mind when I think about Dallas, are opportunity, growth, family, culture, stability…. Just to name a few. I feel so blessed to live in such a great place!
