Hey y'all,

Good news for all y'all Texans out there! A new survey reports that Texas leads the US in high-growth cities! The worst of the recession and the bust of the real estate market really does seem to be over, and Texas is leading the way in terms of growth!

The new survey found that while other markets in other states wobbled and floundered- Texas held strong and even showed growth during the worst of the recession! And we're still growing! 

One boost for our markets was our unemployment rate of 8.3%- which is lower than national average of 10%. Our job market is strong, and always growing which has helped Texas lead the way and stabilize our housing market.

Additionally, many people are getting wise and packing up their things and moving to Texas! The increase of people wanting to be Texans adds to our already huge population and this population growth adds to the number of houses that need to be built and sold! The more people moving in the more homes we need- clearly!
