Change in the Design District

So, I have been meaning to get blogging for a while but have been slacking. I have no good excuse. Maybe the reality shows I watch are taking up valuable blog time, its all the Jersey Shore's fault! So today marks my return to the social media.

It seems like I keep getting questions from people about foreclosures. Yes, there are still some good deals out there but I want to tell you about something else instead. I have been noticing for the last few years that there is a new sheriff in town, and his name is The Design District. If you haven't been that way in a while I think you would be impressed. There are several new residential lease properties in the area now... and they're  affordable!  Plans for retail and restaurants are to follow.

It has been great to see this new location take off. Its great to see the city become more connected with areas that have been forgotten. It only makes sense that this area is going to change. With the Calatrava bridge scheduled to be complete around 2012 this area will have a whole new look. This weekend take 15 minutes, and drive around the new and improved design district!

Check out this article on the area and stay tuned for more blogging from IntownSteve.
