no one likes to do it alone...

thinking about buying, selling or renting yourself some real estate? thinking about flying solo and hacking out the process on your own? well you know what mom always says... "nobody likes to do it alone!!!"

sure it is possible to buy, sell or rent real estate all by your lonesome, and while i do not doubt your vast knowledge or skill set, why go it alone when there are professionals out there to help you? you see real estate transactions are like puzzles, with a zillion pieces to put together. now if you get yourself a REALTOR you're giving yourself the advantage of having someone with expertise working for you to help you put that puzzle together. as real estate agents our job is to make the buying, selling or renting process as smooth, easy, painless, fast, and fun as possible! oh and also get you the best deals available! when you're dealing with possibly one of the biggest transactions of your life its best to have an expert on your side!  

for example... did you know that homes sold "For Sale By Owner" tend to sit on the market for longer and sell for less than those listed with a rest estate agent? yes it is true!!!! and in this buyers market don't we need all the help we can get to sell our homes? if you list your home with an agent you will increase your chances of selling your home faster and for more cash-money!!! and isn't that exactly what you want anyways?

another tricky piece to the puzzle are real estate contracts! buyers, sellers and renters that go it alone run the risk of getting into more legal trouble than those that have representation from a real estate agent. now i'm not saying agents are legal experts, if you have a legal question always check with a lawyer, but... agents do know the contracts and can certainly use their knowledge and expertise to help you when it comes time to filling them out!

how well do you know the market? or the area? or the house in particular? what if there are other areas, or homes that you might like that you didn't even know existed? no one can know everything, but agents live, breathe and die real estate. they know more areas, more homes, more neighborhoods, more 'burbs than ever thought possible. we've seen it all and we'd love to introduce it all to you! agents are here to help you- whether its finding the right area, picking the house that's a home, getting a great condo or apartment or negotiating the best deal an agent that represents you is a big boost to your transaction!

what about inspections, earnest money, closing dates, repairs, option periods, short-sales, foreclosures? what about all the other zillion questions that pop up in any given real estate transaction? when you have representation you have answers! your agent can help guide you and assist you so that little stressors don't become big problems.

well i could go on all day about why you need a real estate professional... but i hope you get the gist. nobody likes to do it alone, so go out there and get yourself a real estate agent to do it with you! and when you thinking of calling an agent up i think you know where to look!
