This is the first blog from yours truly, Steve Rigely  aka intownsteve. It’s 2009 and I figured I might as well “catch up with the times.” I now (finally) feel like an equal with some of my fellow agents in my office who blog on a somewhat regular basis(please see libbieinthecity and sawyerspeaks). If you prefer a vlog, you have come to the wrong place. I will not be doing any Stephon Marbury vlogs anytime soon. Go Spurs.

You may be asking, “What is the point of this, intownsteve?”  Well I'm just here to give a little insight on Rogers Healy and Associates, and the Dallas Real Estate market. I will not talk about how it is a great time to buy or about tax credits(if you do want more info on that call me or email, but remember…I’m not talking about that here). I will instead talk with you about what we do at Rogers Healy and Associates, and more importantly, why we are NOT your typical residential real estate firm.   

You may or may not know my broker Rogers Healy. You’re probably saying, “Oh isn't he the guy who has the T-shirts that Britney Spears wears?” In case you’re wondering, those pictures are real! Anyway, back to my story.  Rogers has created an energetic real estate firm that simply get's it! Now you’re asking, “Gets what?”  Well, we get you! We are agents who are in touch with younger, professional buyers, and renters. We are not your old school real estate agency that tends to check their email once a day, does not know how to text, and recommends you live in an area of town that you have no interest in.
We understand you, because in all reality…we ARE you. 

The agents at RHA are professionals that relate to you. When you can relate to your real estate agent I truly believe it makes the transaction of buying, selling or leasing a place a much easier and enjoyable process.

Just because we are young don't go thinking we are a bunch of Cash McMogulsons! Although we would all love to hear from the guy! Rumor is when the market went bad he had to trade in the Rover. However last I heard he was in Dubai doing deals. If anyone knows his wear about's please let me know! 

I must say this blog thing is kind of fun and I will be back to talk more, so stay tuned. I plan to tell you more about why RHA is different then the rest and more. I guess you can kind of consider me the RHA “narrator.” Think the voice from the wonder years.
