Bonnie Burgett, born and raised in Dallas, decided she needed to experience cold weather and public transportation in Boston after graduating from Ursuline Academy in North Dallas.  Bonnie then graduated with a degree in Finance from Boston College in 2005.

During her time at Boston College, Bonnie had the privilege of interning for The Staubach Company which provided a solid knowledge base from which to grow her interest in real estate.  After graduation she returned to Dallas to pursue a career in commercial real estate development with Cypress Equities, which at that time was an affiliate of The Staubach Company.

As a Real Estate Analyst for a $1.2 Billion automotive REIT, Bonnie assisted in deal origination, financial analysis on the fund level, and loan and sale-leaseback transaction underwriting.  She also interacted daily with real estate brokers, attorneys, and construction team members regarding dealership development, thus allowing her to gain extensive understanding of the national automotive real estate industry.

Bonnie was also involved with national dispositions of Cypress’ developments as well as retail developments in the Northeast, including a $300 Million mixed use project in the Bronx.

Bonnie spent the last year of her tenure with Cypress as a Development Manager for a $400 Million luxury branded resort residence project in California.  She managed day-to-day project activities, collaborated workflow, oversaw all financial analysis, reviewed all legal documentation, and maintained relationships with local government officials, consultants, attorneys, and brokers.

Bonnie is now excited to be continuing her career with Rogers Healy and Associates.  With a focus on investment property and foreclosures, Bonnie brings a wealth of knowledge from her commercial real estate days and is applying that wisdom to the residential market.  She not only brings a business perspective to the table when representing clients, but also a very in-depth and personal familiarity of the Dallas market and neighborhoods.
